நாளடைவில் அறிவு வளர்ச்சி பெற்ற மனிதன் மரத்துண்டுகளை வைத்துதன் இருப்பிடத்திலேயே நெருப்பை உண்டாக்கினான்.
உலகில் மனித சமுதாயம் மாற்றம்,
வளர்ச்சி பெற்றது நெருப்பு உருவாக்கக் கற்றுக்கொண்ட பின்னர்தான்.
Wild fire because of friction
“ The three quotes
from Akananooru provide a picturesque
description of smoldering wild fire
because of a heavy friction caused by strong winds among the old and dry
bamboos in the forests.
Similar wild fires, equal to these descriptions are
even now seen in the bamboo forests or Burma, Cambodia and even in
Formosa. Needless to say that ancient
Sangam Poets were true to nature with their keen observation and awareness. So,
the literary passages from Sangam literature are not mere imaginary description
but a replica of what they have heard and seen in life and in their environs.”
