பரத்தையாகிய குறும்பூழ்ப் போர் என இரண்டாகக் கொண்டு இருவகையாக உரைவரைந்தனர்.

Serious wagering takes place in Afghanistan's capital city when
it comes to
bird fighting —
specifically kowk fighting.
Although gambling is illegal in Afghanistan, betting on the
bouts is
tolerated because this is
one of Afghanistan's cherished traditions.
Kowk are specially-bred
fighting partridges featuring distinct bright
red beaks and black breast stripes.
The fights feature bookies and oddsmakers and handfuls of cash
as the
birds fly around, pecking
at their opponents. It is rarely bloody, and the
winner is the bird that drives the other bird away.
The prized birds are expensive animals, and owners would not let
these prized possessions
be harmed. Afghans enjoy betting on a
host of other amusements, from dogfighting to less violent games
such as an egg-fighting
game where you try to break the opponents' egg.
