3. இசை மருத்துவம்

              மேற்சுட்டியுள்ள புறநானூற்றுப் பாடல்பழந்தமிழர்தம் இசை மருத்துவத்தின் அறிவியல் உண்மையை எடுத்துரைக்கின்றது.

                   . Music Therapy is not a new one to Indians especially for Tamils. In ancient Tamil literature gives us a reference about Music Therapy.

                  PuRanaanuRu,  281, Arisilkizaar, in his poem,  clearly narrates, the heroes who have got severe injuries in the battlefield, they have  treated in their homes. 1.  House cleaned. 2. Herbals inserted  in veranda . 3 with musical instruments  singing  Kaanci PaN …… Music that heals …sure.. Music must  touch one’s MIND; It is possible only through their mother tongue.

MUSIC THAT  HEALS

                        “ Michael Thorne, vice chancellor, Anglia Ruskin University, UK, to discuss tie-ups with Indian universities as a part of the new South Asia Anglia Partnership (SAAP) . He taiks to Anisha Sahijwala On the scope of music therapy in the country.

                           The Masters in music therapy is a two – year, full-time course that trains skilled musicians to become music therapists. Students are trained in how to use music therapeutically with a variety of populations including people suffering from depression, psychosis, learning difficulty, autism and other difficulties such as dementia. ---Times of India-10/3/14.

                           இலண்டன் பல்கலைக்கழகத்துணைவேந்தர் மைக்கேல் தோர்னே இசைமருத்துவம் குறித்த பல்கலைக் கழகப்பட்டத்திற்குரிய  பாடத்திட்டங்களை உருவாக்க முன்வந்துள்ளார். அவர் இசைஞர்களை இசை மருத்துவத்தில் ஈடுபடுத்துவதோடு மாணவர்களுக்குப் பயிற்சி அளித்துஇசை மருத்துவர்களாக்கவும் முயன்றுள்ளார். மன அழுத்தம் மனப்பிறழ்ச்சி கற்றல் குறைபாடுகள் மனவளர்ச்சிக் குறைபாடு முதலியவற்றால் துன்புறும் ----மக்களைக் காப்பாற்ற இசை மருத்தும் பேருதவிபுரியும் என்ற நோக்கில் இசைமருத்துவம்  முன்னெடுக்கப்படுகின்றது. இன்று அறிவியல் வயப்பட்ட இசைமருத்துவம் தொல்தமிழரின் கண்டுபிடிப்பல்லவோ! -----தொடரும்…..
