உலகத் தாய்மொழி நாள்

அண்மைக் கால அகழாய்வுகள், தமிழின் தொன்மையையும் தமிழர்களின் வாழ்வியல் வரலாற்றையும் கால எல்லைகளைக் கடந்து மேன்மேலும் உயர்த்துகின்றன. ”தமிழே உலக முதன்மொழி” -  அறிஞர்களின் ஆய்வுரைகளுக்கு வலுசேர்க்கும் வண்ணம் சான்றுகள் கிடைத்துவருகின்றன.

தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் சிவகலை என்னும் ஊரில் திரு மாணிக்கம் அவர்கள் முயற்சியில் பத்தாயிரம் ஆண்டுகட்கு முற்பட்ட தமிழர்களின்  வாழிடங்களைக்  கண்டறிந்துள்ளார். தமிழர்கள், தொல்பழங்காலத்திலேயே இரும்பை உருக்கிக் கருவிகள் செய்துள்ளனர்.

தமிழ், தமிழர் வாழ்வியல் தொன்மைச் சான்றுகள் ஆழ்கடலிலும் அடிமண்ணிலும் புதைந்து கிடக்கின்றன. தமிழின் காலப்பழமையைக் கணக்கிட அறிவியலே திணறும் காலம் தொலைவில் இல்லை,

10,000-yr –old megalithic sites found in Sivagalai

”A. Manickam,44, of Sivagalai village about historical evidences found in Sivagalai, which are older than Adicahanallur.

Manickam, a history teacher at a private school in Srivaikundam  town developed self-interest about the history of his village.

Manickam unearthed  several artefacts, which he believes to be atleast 10,000 years old. “Most of them are either water canals or irrigation lands now and hence was hidden in plain sight.” Manickam tolod TOI.

The expert appointed by the department too concurred with Manickam’s assessment and submitted that about 1,000 acres of burial urns are found underneath. “Terracotta potteries, knife, sword, horse stable rings made of iron and bones were found in the area and hence this might have been a burial site.” The expert had stated, according to the submission before the court by K.Sakthivel, assistant director (in charge) of archaeology, Madurai.” –TOI-20/2/19.
