ஆசை பற்றிய தமிழின் தொண்டில்
ஒட்டிய
என் உளம் வெட்டினும் பிரியாது
வெண்பா
முதலிய எழுதும் என்கை
வண்ணம்பாடிக்
கொண்டிருக் கும் வாய்
முப்ப
தாண்டு முடியும் வரைக்கும் நான்
எழுதிய
அனைத்தும் என்ன சொல்லும்?
கடவுள்
இதோஎன்று மக்கட்குக் காட்டிச்
‘சுடச்சுட
அவன் அருள் துய்ப்பீர்’ என்னும்
ஆயினும்……..
“Heart and soul, devoted
and determined I was
The cause of Tamil to
serve.
Poems of many kinds my
hand would scribe
And my lips would melodies
make
What did all my writings
in those thirty years convey?
Manifestations of God,
keenly desirous of revealing to the people,
These would exhort them
the Grace of God to imbibe
As fresh and soon. Of God’s
